K-9 Corner Dog Park is a charming and conveniently located dog park in Long Beach, California. Designed on a cozy corner lot, the park welcomes both local dog owners and those passing through the area. The park’s small size offers a friendly vibe, ideal for quick doggie outings, with artificial turf that stays green year-round and well-maintained fencing. Thanks to a fully solar-powered lighting system, the park remains accessible even in the evenings, making it perfect for those with a busy schedule.
Dog owners appreciate amenities such as a water fountain for pets (accessible via a ramp), benches for relaxing while your dog plays, and sturdy gates for safety. The park is wheelchair accessible, family-friendly, and provides a haven for dogs looking to get some fresh air and exercise. While the park is celebrated for its convenience and cuteness, visitors have noted the importance of maintaining cleanliness and ensuring all dogs are well-behaved. K-9 Corner Dog Park is a great stop for a quick play session or a restful spot during a busy day in Long Beach.
A perfect place to visit when it’s maintained. I’d like to visit more often if anyone ever bothered to clean up after their dogs. Some woman keeps dropping off and leaving rabbits at the park unattended, which is odd.
Love this little dog park I got 2 dogs a pitbull and a cheewahwawa
At times I seen some homeless people camping inside the dog park…
ITS A DOGGIE PARK PEOPLE SO DONT POST UP N SLEEP THERE… ITS WRONG
Did a goggle search found this dog as I had 1 hour to spare for the furball. This is a tiny dog park. I believe both large and small come here as no one seems to pick up after there animal. This is a big downfall for some pet owners. The dog park needs a bit of TLC and it will be good to go.
Highly appreciative that this dog park was open.
There is a huge solar panel for evening lighting if your an owner that comes around dusk.
First, I went to point out that this dog park is exactly what it advertises itself to be. A corner, you could build a house on the lot the same size as the one next door except this is a corner lot. For those of you that haven’t figured out how to look at the size of a dog park from Google Maps, let me be helpful. You’ll notice at the upper right side there is what looks like a stack of papers. If you press that, it will offer you a variety of views one being satellite. If you choose satellite you can actually Zoom down in and look at the park before you drive all the way over there. There are a lot bigger dog parks within a few moments from here, Recreation dog park being the first one that comes to mind. But if you are driving down the highway, or coming down the coast or up the coast? This is actually a very interesting spot to stop at. And the thousands of dog parks I have been to this has got to be the cutest corner for dogs I’ve ever found. They got a great little ramp that goes up to the water fountain that is up on a concrete pedestal. They have, unfortunately, artificial turf? But hey, at least it’s green and they do have rocks that are built right into the pathways the gates are very nice and the fencing is really cool and it’s worth the stop just physically see it and say that you’ve been here!! Also, I believe they have a fully solar powered lighting system for the park.
Went to this small dog park corner with my Dad and sis to escape our confounded apartment along with our dog to get a breath of the fresh air the city has to offer. It was a playful little pen or area for our dog to just run around and do his thing and a little solitary time. This location is all-well and done. In occasions you might get another dog owner with another dog for yours to make friends and friendships, but that usually doesn’t matter in the topic of that most of the time. 5 Stars as our dog felt content getting some fitness in, drink out of the doggy fountain, and lay down or relax; for me, the cool morning breeze and laying down on a bench and watch or play around with our dog as if it was my friend at a bigger park I’d play with.
