Every time I go I swear I see 1) people feeding the birds bread/chips/food they SHOULD NOT consume 2) people chasing the birds for the sake of chasing them.
Beautiful, serene area. I think the park staff could be doing more to ensure it stays that way. The one sign stating “don’t feed wildlife” is not enough and it’s not even near the shady area people typically feed the birds. Makes me uncomfortable to watch.
Other than that, great local park. Wish so many stupid people didn’t exist

Beautiful relaxing spot. I love taking my children to play in the park and my dog for walks there. Been going here almost all my life. They also have a lovely 9/11 memorial garden dedicated to those in the community who lost or gave their lives that day. Really touching.

Great place for the kids to run around and play. Open all year round. I have a 9,6,3 years old kids and the park offers variety of play area. Tennis, baseball field, basketball and the playground for older kids and smaller toddlers. The county workers are great always on top of the park making sure the area clean and also safe. My only problem with the place are the people who uses it and abuse the playground i wish there was some security to keep people in check. The tennis court which i would love to use but unfortunately the nets are broken missing middle tape. We do love going there regardless. Very pretty and nice to walk around the pond. Highly recommended for the kids

Great park in Lindenhurst. There are two ballfields, a playground for the kids, a pond with a fountain, a walking/running trail, basketball court, tennis court and a 9/11 Memorial Garden. We come here a lot because the kids have baseball games here. Sometimes we go to the park as well. The kids like to ride their bikes here around the trail. The ice cream man usually makes a stop at the ball games.
