Located on Petty Plain Rd, Paws Park is a welcoming dog park in Greenfield, Massachusetts, designed for dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors together. Offering both a gravel and a grass side, Paws Park features fenced areas where dogs can play off-leash, making it a top choice for pet-friendly activities in the region. With plenty of natural shade from trees, the park stays comfortable on sunny days, and accessible walking paths and dedicated parking ensure a smooth visit for everyone—including those using wheelchairs.
Paws Park stands out for its community feel and practical amenities. Free poop bags and water faucets for filling bowls or bottles are provided, ensuring that pups stay hydrated and the park remains clean for all. The park is maintained well, although like any popular dog park, visitors are encouraged to help keep it tidy. For families, there’s a playground, picnic tables, and other sports amenities nearby, making this a great destination for a dog-friendly day out in Franklin County.
Great park. Has two sides, gravel side and grass side. I live nearby and come everyday for good reason. 99% of the dogs/adults that come here are good to interact with. It is clean here and has free poop bags and faucets for getting water for the dogs. This is definitely a place I would recommend.
This park has never been a WOW, which sucks because I live close by and can take a nice walk to it, but I would rather drive to unity (which yes also has its own negatives) but I don’t feel like I’m going to get kidnapped at unity , sorry not sorry 🤷🏻♀️
I take my dogs here almost daily, occasionally there are complications with other dog owners. It would be great if they picked up after their dogs, considering there are clean up bags available, but otherwise great park
Good spot for the dogs to run. Pretty clean
Nice park, although not great. People were a little standoffish while I was there. Advantage: there’s a porta potty for the main park.
Grass and dirt (it’ll get muddy), water, bags, trash. The trees do give some nice shade.
