I went here, parking tickets don’t work well, all animals are mall nourished, some aren’t even there! Playground was so bad, ice cream truck was blasting and being annoying . worst trip ever! I want a refund. Only good things were the Lynx and eagle.
This place is a great place to visit with smaller children. At one point we were going every two weeks! The older elementary age kids were less interested in it.
This was orchestrated quite well. Plenty of parking and easy access to the main entrance. Check in process is best if you prepay for tickets. Don’t waste time waiting in line to buy tickets in person. The display is tasteful and great variety with different rooms. Outdoor decorations were nice as you exit or take outdoor pictures. Money from pictures which is optional helps support the animals onsite.
The zoo was perfect. The kids could go in and out of their strollers as necessary and the animals were labeled with their names and genus. The peacocks were LOUD and my son loved it. The steer were larger than life. There were a family of geese and little goslings when we went wandering throughout. Unfortunately the black bear passed away, but we still got to experience some great animals and pet a few at the beginning.
This is a fun place for kids in general to keep them busy for an hour or two. They have a small zoo (a mix of wild and farm animals), playground, picnic tables, garden center, restrooms and hiking trail.

Plenty of picnic tables, big playground with benches, good amount of shade. Overall a great place.
