Absolutely love this park and, more importantly, so does my dog! He can roam here freely and happily. You can walk two paths; the trail in the woods, or the main path. Because it’s smaller, we usually walk the trail and the main path.
There has never been a bad encounter here. When I was dog walking, I brought my dogs here, and they loved to play in the fenced in play pens with other dogs. Convenient because there are two, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. If you cross the street at the end of this park, there’s another beautiful park you can walk in.
Easily one of our favorite parks and we visit frequently.

This dog park is amazing. There is so much room to let your dog get exercise. There are a ton of obstacles.

Goldstein Open Space dog park is an absolute gem! This park offers a wonderful sanctuary for furry friends to frolic and socialize. The expansive, well-maintained grounds provide ample space for dogs to run freely, with separate areas for small and large breeds ensuring safety and comfort for all. The thoughtful amenities such as water stations, agility equipment, and shaded seating areas make it an ideal spot for both dogs and their owners. The park’s serene atmosphere and friendly community create a delightful experience every visit. Kudos to the Goldstein Open Space for being a haven where dogs can truly be themselves!
We live in Florida but frequently fly out to NY with our 105lb service dog, and then drive up to Boston for the weekend. We have now “found” this gem 2 times, and now we have it bookmarked for all our future drives past. Highly recommend!
ONE NOTE: THEY DO NOT HAVE WATER, BRING YOUR OWN. THERE ARE USUALLY BOWLS AROUND.

This is such a great dog park. I am very grateful to those who made this happen. There is a bigger area for the bigger dogs and a smaller small dog park next to it. One of the best things about this dog park are the people that bring their pups here. Everyone is so friendly and are usually good about keeping on their dogs to avoid issues. Also, people bring things for the park sometimes too (chairs, dog pools, tennis balls for everyone to use). If you have a dog this is a great place to bring them.

Huge fenced woodlands area. There are lots of things to keep the pups interested.
Separate sections, although the “small dog” section, purportedly, is mostly used by dog walkers or others who need to keep their charges separated from the main area dogs instead.
Parking is a 5-10 minute hike. Water is from a spigot/hose.

(Be careful. the entry fence section was covered in poison ivy vines as of the end of July)
