Lovely place to take a short walk or to just zone out to the river running over the rocks. Great pizza right down the street too!
Nic little part of the river tucked away in a small park..not much room for parking,it’s on a curve off the road .
It was very nice and peaceful here.. small path down to a pretty sandy river beach..

I carefully made my way into the water. In mid-September, the water was very refreshing, which I can imagine is a sensation you can experience in the summer regardless of the ambient temperature. One family was there with their dog. The dog greeted me, and I was not bothered by its presence. I didn’t see any other people in the park.
I only need to spend about a thousand more hours exploring all the nooks and crannies. Bring a bathing suit; you won’t want to worry about getting your clothes wet.
