🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Liberty Pond And Dog Park is a popular dog-friendly destination located just off Schurz Highway in Fallon, NV. This park offers two fenced off-leash areas for your furry friends to run and play, including a general dog area and a separate small dog section. The park is especially appreciated by travelers and locals for its open spaces, walking trail around the pond and field, and easy access for a pit stop or a longer visit.
While the pond is present, it often has algae or duckweed issues, so swimming or fishing may not always be ideal. However, the park is noted for its clean grounds and convenient amenities like a large grassy play area and a clean, well-stocked portable restroom for human visitors. In addition, the adjacent playground and large field offer fun for families and kids in a truly pet-friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re seeking an off-leash dog park in Fallon, Nevada, or looking for a pet-friendly trail to stretch your legs, Liberty Pond And Dog Park has something for everyone.
Not the best dog park we’ve been to but not the worst. A large and smaller fenced, off leash area (did not notice small and large dog designated). No goatheads or other stickers noted in grassy area. No shade in afternoon in smaller one & after I left noticed someone bringing large boxer in small area. Pond has algae covering it so fish quality is unknown. Large field for sports. Playground for kids.
Really great little place to fish And take either kids or people starting to fish but this year the duck weed is really bad and it’s Almost unusable because of how much is on the top of the water it’s the whole pond except for the aerators. They really need to do something about this because every time you cast out how you have is a bunch of weeds on the line.
I love this place. Two dog parks. A lake. A huge open field. Nothing not to like.
Great dog park in Fallon, NV. Highly recommend. We stayed the night here on our way east and gave the dogs some run time before hitting the road. Walking trail around the perimeter and the pond, and separate small and general population dog parks. Perk – very clean portapotty for the humans. No lock, but it was fine and well stocked.
