Nice little spot to enjoy the Pemi river but it was extremely busy and parking was a challenge even fairly late in the day. It’s a bit rocky just by the park for easy tubbing but is a great way to cool off.

It’s nice for a day being able to swim and enjoy nature.
Their used to be built in grills but they’ve been removed and you aren’t allowed personal grills.

Very pretty area. Some grass with a few picnic tables. You climb down some rocks and are on the river. There is slow water good for swimming and then a lot of large rocks that’s speed the water up. The rocks are really neat, carved out into cool shapes by the water. This area gets very busy and you may not be able to maintain social distancing during the heat of the day. I went in the morning and there were just a few fishers. Folks who need mobility aids would have trouble climbing down the rocks. It looked like there might be an easier entrance on the other side of the bridge, but I’m not sure if it’s private property over there. Please take all your trash. Sadly visitors seem to be bad at cleaning up after themselves and there was trash laying around in the rocks.

Lovely little spot to stop and enjoys some cool water. The path down to the river is a little on the rugged side, so not for folks with mobility issues. Please remember to take your trash with you so they don’t close the area.

Great place to get some nature. There is no great way to get to the water but you can. There is good parking and pavement which is not always an option at these types of parks.
