With its reputation for being immaculately kept, this pet-friendly park welcomes both children and dogs, providing a peaceful escape just minutes from the heart of the city. Dog owners will find several trash cans and conveniently-placed doggie bag stations throughout the park, ensuring a tidy and enjoyable experience. There’s a bench available for owners to rest while their dogs watch the world go by, although amenities such as off-leash areas, fenced zones, or dog agility equipment are not present. Keep in mind that Lester Bates Park is strictly an on-leash park, maintaining a safe environment for all visitors due to its proximity to residential streets and frequent pedestrian activity.
A wonderful neighborhood park! It is always immaculately maintained, and there are several trash cans and doggie bag stations available for dog owners. My golden retriever loves to watch the squirrels while I sit on the benches.
Be aware, however, that despite it’s dog friendly status, this park is strictly on-leash and is in close proximity to pedestrians and local traffic.
Very nice. It was a beautiful day.
Alright green space, only one bench and little real attractions
My dog loves it
Smaller park within the neighborhoods. Great for a dog walk or smaller activity outside.
