Great hiking. Excellent trail quality and lots of loops. Wasn’t always perfectly clear which path to take in order to stay on the appropriate usage trail headed in the appropriate direction but that’ll proudly become more clear after a few visits.
Excellent example of a trail that is family friendly with advanced B lines for skilled riders. Jumps, drops, senders and skinnys – all well done and optional. Great for all skill levels
Nice quiet well maintained trail. Pretty area. Near wetlands so lots of mosquitoes. Found some ticks after our walk so watching for ticks would be a good plan.
The mountain bike trails, about three miles. Three loops were experienced by my 14yo son and I Friday. They are very new and my son had high accolades for them. I felt they were technical and provided a great workout and challenge. Did two loops of the whole trail system and had big smiles.well thought out challenging and spirited if the speed is pushed. Thanks for your trail making. The local team will benefit from them. Definately ride again.
The tails are well maintained and are wide enough to fit a vehicle. The routes vary a bit because the trails weave through the highs and lows of the terrain. The trails are marked with blue, but also have maps at a few intersections.
Since the trail is pretty close to a swamp and has a stream near it, you will be attacked by horse flies and mosques.
The area infront of the parking is big enough to host a family reunion or two.
My only gripe is the parking lot is pretty pitted because it’s dirt. If you go, it might have been fixed. That being said, it doesn’t really effect trails.
