Delano Dog Park offers a welcoming destination for pet owners and their furry companions right in Delano, Minnesota. This dog park features dedicated spaces for both small and large dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for pups of all sizes. The park is fully fenced, giving owners peace of mind while allowing dogs to run and play off-leash. Benches are scattered throughout the area, and a pavilion at the entrance provides shaded relief on sunny days.

It would be an OK dog park. The paths around it whoever decided to use the gravel they used either didn’t think it through or they were to cheap to buy something that’s isn’t so sharp and rough

This dog park also has an archery trail that circles one so de of the dag park.
The use of the trail costs NULL per person and is an honor system with a pay box at the parking area. After paying you are supposed to take a laminated “ticket” which is attached to a carbineer and clip it to yourself to display that you have paid. The tickets are hanging on a bar by the pay box. Alternatively you can pay for a season pass at Delano city hall.
It is a very nice archery trail with shot stations at ranges from 15 feet to 80 yards.
Each station has multiple yardages marked out with bow holders and a gravel path for the trail.
The targets are morrel bag targets with roofs built over them. Most of the stations have dirt berms (mounds) behind them in case you miss.
There are 14 stations on a loop around the fenced dog park and each station faces away from the park.
There is also a 30 yard 3 station range with a dirt berms and arrow stop/netting behind.
A few benches are scattered around and there is a pavilion for shade at the start.
The trail loops around a section of the dog park which is fenced so you don’t have to worry about dogs running around where you are shooting.
It looks like some target stations can be flooded in the spring.
