Troutville Park is a well-maintained public park located at 5340 Lee Hwy in Troutville, Virginia. The park offers amenities for visitors of all ages, including a scenic walking track that loops around its perimeter, open grassy areas, and a playground—making it a popular destination for families. With its beautifully kept grass and clean rubber playground surface, Troutville Park provides a pleasant and relaxing outdoor experience.
While this park stands out for its amenities such as a picnic pavilion, hot showers, restrooms, and a paved walking lane, it is important to note that pets (including dogs) are not allowed at Troutville Park. Therefore, those searching for a dog park in Troutville, VA, or dog-friendly trails and off-leash areas will need to look elsewhere for pet-friendly options.
Kids always have a good time here. Especially when they run into their classmates for a fun 1 on 1. Parks and Rec do a fantastic job maintaining the upkeep year round.
Not a track, but a paved lane to walk/jog around.
Pets aren’t allowed
Beautiful and well maintained. We love it. The grass is so perfect it looks like a picture book. I love the rubber that they put down instead of mulch, it’s so clean. I just took my shoes off and enjoyed the grass.
Nice park with activities for all ages
Great place to camp as a thru hiker. Great amenities(Hot shower, outlets, picnic pavilion.) Close to a grocer and a great coffee shop. Not too far off trail. And best of all free. Only down sides were that the park lights stayed on all night and the train and trash truck noise at 4 am.
Troutville park is a nice little park to visit. They have a walking track that surrounds the perimeter and a few playground structures to entertain the children. The only reason I decided to give it a 4-star rating is that there is not a lot of playground structures for the size of the property. Also, it is evident that very little is done to maintain the tennis court and parking lot areas.
