Great park for sports. Parking is convenient and the park is well kept. One of the best in Bedford County. Would have given 5 stars if the had concessions.
This is a beautiful place. There are plenty of places to walk around and explore. It is very clean and tidy. The playground is super cute. My dog enjoyed walking around and exploring with me. There are also places to play sports which is super cool.
Basic regular park in Moneta , with wide area for various kind of fun and games,
good playground for playing football, and nice place for birthdays or family parties with barbecue,
* no water fountain or any source for drinking or washing, and
* bathrooms are closed during winter,
good parking area.
We went to Moneta Park to play the disc golf course. It was a beautiful course which made excellent use of the terrain. There was a good mix of open and wooded holes. Beware of getting off the mowed fairway on the open holes and get a spotter in a place to see around corners and over hills as the tall grass can make locating your disc difficult. Overall it was a very fun course to play.
