I have stayed here numerous times and staff is always KIND. Dierdre and Mike are very helpful! They make me feel like a princess! They are very dog friendly. The rooms are clean, unique and the grounds well kept (the grass is so plush!) Hidden gem!!!

The guy who checked me in was very nice! The room itself is not that good and the building is old and run down. The blinds are very dusty and broken so hard to close and the curtain doesn’t even cover them so light shines in the room at night also. The bed is very poor quality and the frame is broken so it dips in the middle and you will most likely wake up with back pain! There are some kind of stains along the base of the walls, possibly mold or water damage. Also there is a constant noise going on outside at night from some machine. It’s a miserable place to sleep 😭 Even with earplugs you can hear so much, it sounds like someone is moving furniture upstairs and stomping around everywhere for hours at night. So old you can hear every sound and sleep here is basically nonexistent! Clearly no quiet hours either. At 10pm it sounded like a loud kid party outside still going on screaming and all. I’m glad they are having fun but I stayed here vs. camping to get some sleep which has not happened in two days that have been here and now all I hear is some stomping upstairs and kids screaming outside and it’s 10pm.
It was a great place to stay in a beautiful forest. Awesome ice skating rink.
Last time we stayed in the motel area before renovations. It was fine. Cabin stay feel. This time we are staying at Luxury Cabin as they name it. It is very comfortable. Nice fireplace! There is a constant noise from Ice Skating rink. Kitchen is well equipped. Room sleeps 8, but only 4 cups and very few spoons. Cabinets need a quick wiping. King mattress definitely could use an upgrade. When other person turns, fells like I am surfing on water. And I sleep really deep. I don’t hear anything when I sleep. Turns out I feel :). Staff is nice people. Don’t forget to tip!
If you’re coming for an event or for the scenery it a great option. The resort grounds are pretty the rooms are charming. However, if you’re looking to feel well rested the next day bring your own pillow, maybe your own bedding. This was the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in ages. I’m in my late 30s so not super old but woke up with terrible back pain. Honestly wish I brought my own pillows, theres only 3 on the two person bed and they are so thin, mattresses are incredibly firm. Definitely not a comfortable sleep, woke up much earlier than I wanted to because it was so painful. So wanted to share this for others.
