Nice place, NULL entrance fee. Park online map is outdated, missing some trails.

All bathrooms were absolutely disgusting! Nobody took care of them! They looked like they were left to rot for days!! The little river was the complete opposite. The water was clean. The current was not too strong. Perfect for families! I enjoyed my day here with my parents and nephews. But please…clean the restrooms!

This park is at the junction of the Merced and the San Joaquin rivers. People fish and children swim in them. The large open space camping area works great for extended family gatherings. Big, old oak canopy shades much of the grassy area. Mosquitoes.

Group site is located literally few feet from a major road way, it’s hard to catch sleep. Restroom is old but acceptable, but not enough for the number of people.
