This spacious, well-maintained dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs, allowing all pups to romp and play safely off leash. Convenience is key with a nearby small parking lot, public restrooms, and seating areas beneath shady trees where owners can relax and keep an eye on their pets. You’ll also find water bowls available for thirsty dogs, and waste bags are regularly provided. Whether you’re looking for a quiet weekday visit or a chance to socialize your dog, Quaile Rand Norton Dog Park stands out as a top option among Turlock’s pet-friendly parks.
It’s especially nice now because of the lake that has become my dog park.. however I do have it all to myself because of the water.
A nice big dog park with separate sides for large and small. Grass, trees, water. Concrete benches under shady trees on a slight hill makes a nice vantage point to watch the dogs. Plenty of room to toss balls and frisbees to fetch.
In terms of dog parks that I have been too, this one is not bad. It can be quiet if you go during general work hrs. It does have a bit of a hole issue with owners not following up on the digging. There are clear signs on the fences, but unfortunately some don’t care, so watch for twisted ankles. There is a working water bowl for dogs, and bags are always available. Upside is that there are bathrooms for the public available and a kids park that is well shaded all around. A generally well covered park if you ask me. If you want some breeze and a little quiet, this park is just about it usually. It has been for me.
A very well maintained dog park. Only issue is the fact that it’s a little ways from the parking area. But plenty of green and nicely sized for the area! No dogs when I came, but I came in the peak of the heat with my dogs while driving through so not surprised.
Came during mid day and no other dogs were in the big boy side while taking a break from a dog show held nearby. We liked the large expanse of grassy area, but there is no water or poop bags present. The ground isn’t level and ruts exists. So, with runners, you should be careful. There’s two fenced area…. one for small and one for big dogs alike.
There is a small parking lot nearby along with a semi clean public bathroom. Fortunately, there are plenty of tall trees to provide some shade.
