it’s a great place, but sometimes not all the poop is picked up, my dog stepped in poop 2 times, so take care of the poop, and I don’t like that, it says it’s closed on Thursdays, it should be closed on like Mondays or Sundays, but I just hate that there is like some aggressive dogs that come there, but that’s not the dog parts fault. I enjoy this park. Been coming here for about a year. Plenty of room. Water dishes. Poop bags etc. List keeps going. 1 of the best parks probably in the metro
I did a virtual tour of this location to share with my pet parent followers on my YouTube channel. I came in the day of the Petfest event.
My tour showcased the wide open fields, wooded areas of mature shade trees, the agility equipment, the dog wash area, the covered seating.
There is also a sharing library in the parking lot.
Why is the park close on a bright and Sunny Friday afternoon? Because of “weather”? Whoever holds the keys to lock up for rainy days needs to be available to unlock it when the sun comes out. The grass is dry, the sun is out and the dogs want to play. I’m tired of fighting traffic to get over here and it turns out to be closed. Now my time is wasted and my dog still need to play and walk. Please do better.
My park of choice. Spacious, well kept, shaded areas with trees and little walking trails + training equipment for your dog. Benches for tired humans. Packed with friendly doggies – I bring my fur baby 2x sometimes 3x / week. He loves it. Ample space to run around and play. (Closed on Thursdays for maintenance)
