Love this park. The remold building for rent is spacious and beautiful perfect for a small wedding or a baby shower or practically any other nice place you would need for a special occasion. The park grounds are very nice and well-kept I like the walking path.
Always beautiful and well kept. Actually see the groundskeepers truck there almost every time we show up! No trash, no glass on the grass or anything, however I would be careful in flip flops because occasionally there’s a very tiny piece of glass mixed in with gravel on the pathways… Plenty of awesome bugs and butterflies… if you’re homeschooling this is definitely a destination spot!!!
Nice quiet park could use better water fountains and some outlets that work
This is a great place for taking time and smelling the roses!
If you are wondering what plants thrive in this area and are basically easy to grow ,come by and look at the different plantings. Great place for walking, with one exception….no dogs allowed.
Well I was there to remember a dear friend who passed a few weeks ago. It would’ve been a little easier on her children had the hall been opened on time but things happen and that’s understandable. But in general, the past couple weeks the weather has been lovely. Therefore you’d think with all the people Johnson County has at it’s disposal ,doing community service, that the park would’ve been cleaned up allot better by now. Although I must say that the tulips are beautiful. I have a rake if you need to borrow one and I’m not on community service but if you need a little help, I will see if I can get a ride to help out.
