Good spot watch out for the rude neighbors next door they are really particular on who can get near their rusted out cars

Whatcha call it when Eagle Mountain meets a trailer park: Pelican Bay. Public water access via a sandy beach to one of the cleanest bodies of water in Texas. Facilities 🚻, law audited, land erosion example with burn pile, great sunset, and opportunities to help remove glass/trash from the ecosystem. Furthest sightline afforded across the water is 3 miles measured using google maps. Calculating the curvature the drop is six feet? Accordingly and observer’s sight at 5’7″ can see 3.1 miles. Does water curve?

Clean and quiet! They have grills, picnic tables, playground equipment and a portable potty. The beach area was very clean! Definitely recommend!

IF you like the lake but not the crowd this is great. Had alot of trees for shade, a picnic bench or two and space to bring your own setup if you wanted. I don’t like alot of people so this works for me

Pathetic example of a park. This town/city already doesn’t have a great reputation and I guess the city likes it that way. Came out today and noticed a ton of debris. Super unpleasant and uncomfortable to be there. I also think we came across people who were up to no good. Lots of cussing from their car very obvious towards us being there and they immediately left.
I came out here one other time and city guys were just sitting in their trucks twirling their thumbs. Lots of bugs and ants so fishing is miserable. I don’t recommend this park at all.
