A great small town peaceful park to sit & have a self-supplied snack. It’s even great for kids to ride bikes or running around. People love to sit & read also.
Hutzel Memorial Band Shell is one part of Lincoln Park found on the south side of the park. It’s just one end of one of the most relaxing and at the same time, reverent parks in the area. Lincoln Park is a passive park with lots of shade and walking trails. In addition, the park has commemorative monuments and tributes to the veterans of World War 2, the Spanish American War, all wars, a 9/11 memorial, a Washington Bicentennial Tree, and a Columbus Quincentenary plaque. There also is a small gazebo here, and numerous benches throughout, with even a pair of checkers tables present. An artistic bike rack adorns the park’s south side. This park celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2023.
