While not exclusively a dog park, it offers open green spaces for walks with your furry friends and has become a favorite destination for community members and pet owners alike. This park is renowned as the Hackensack “graff temple,” where talented artists from the Tri-State area frequently showcase their work on the park’s walls, making each visit visually engaging.
Beyond its dog-friendly pathways and open lawns, Union Street Park features amenities for families and individuals, including a well-maintained basketball court, a small kids’ playground, and plenty of benches for seating. It’s a great choice for those looking for a unique outdoor space in Hackensack while enjoying time with their pets.

Best park ever.. the hackensack graff temple
Grew up playing soccer here. A lot of memories and met Great Friends At The Time
This park is historically significant to Hackensack. It’s the location of the first Colombian Independence Day (July 20) celebration from the 1960’s that eventually moved to Foschini Park, and then Oradell where it is held today.
One of the best locations where artists come and bless the walls with their talent. It’s never disappointing to see artists come all over — mostly the Tri-State area. Even if your not into the artwork, there is a small kids playground, benches and a full basketball court.
