Located at 89 Kimmig Ave in Lodi, Saddle River Park offers a delightful dog park experience nestled near the heart of Bergen County. The park was completely rebuilt in 2024, providing a fresh and inviting area for locals and their four-legged friends. Conveniently situated behind the playground on the south side of Borig Place, this dedicated dog park area is fully fenced, ensuring dogs can safely play off-leash.
The dog area features wood chips for ground covering, which helps keep paws clean, and offers a couple of benches and a single eating table for owner comfort. There are garbage cans available for easy waste disposal. While there is only on-street parking and no public restrooms, the park’s proximity to pet-friendly trails and family-friendly amenities like the adjacent playground makes it an excellent spot for dog owners and families alike.
Saddle River Park, which is located in Lodi, was completely rebuilt new in 2024.
Note, while directly bordering it, Saddle River Park is NOT the same park as George Warchol Community Park (which has the gazebo). Saddle River Park is on the south side of Borig Place, while George Warchol Community Park is located on the north side of Borig Pl.
